Usually we were looking up at the Tower of the Ljubljana Castle, here were are looking down from the top of the tower.

I like this particular view because it includes so many of the things we visited most in Ljubljana.

In the foreground is the Ljubljana River and boardwalk which are closed to motor traffic and so pleasant to walk around.

In the middle is Congress Square where something always was always happening, from dinner in the sky to college enrollment fairs to a large, live broadcast of the Slovenian National Basketball team winning the Eurobasket championship.

In the background to the right is Tivoli Park, one of the three great green spaces within walking distance of our apartment and my favorite place to run.
