Earlier in the day Natalie was telling us all about a story she read in the paper where someone was trying to answer the question - "Why are full remains of male woolly mammoths more common than female". Their hypothesis was that male woolly mammoths were more likely to be doing something dangerous that would get them stuck in water that would freeze or a tar pit. Essentially that male woolly mammoths were more reckless.

Of course we had a lot of fun with this story especially later in the day when we were hiking in the gorge and saw an older gentleman delicately working his way back down the side of the Aniene Falls well outside the fenced in "safe" area.
